$200K – $220K + Super
Monday to Friday | Pre-Contracts & Project HSE
The Opportunity
Our client is an established mining and civil contractor working across major resources projects and clients in WA.
They are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead HSE across the business, with a strong focus on pre-contracts, tendering and project support.
The role is predominantly head office based and will oversee approximately 5-6 HSE Advisors across 2-3 projects, with the project portfolio expected to grow. Each project operates independently, with Project Managers overseeing day-to-day operations and the HSE Manager providing overall HSE leadership, support and assurance.
The role will also involve ad hoc site visits and close engagement with operational teams.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant HSE qualification
- Strong mining and/or civil contractor background
- Experience working with major mining clients, ideally RIO, BHP and/or FMG
- Experience developing HSE Management Plans and tender submissions
- Experience completing HSE questionnaires and pre-contract documentation
- Previous experience overseeing HSE Advisors across multiple projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Practical understanding of contractor HSE requirements and WA WHS legislation
- Comfortable working across both head office and site environments
- Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence
