HSEQ Coorindator
HSEQ Coordinator | Commercial Construction
- Location: Perth – Central NOR
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary: $90k-$120k + super, commensurate with experience
- Established commercial builder with progression opportunities
- Work alongside a highly experienced HSEQ Manager
Zenith Search is partnered with an established and well-respected commercial builder seeking an HSEQ Coordinator to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a grounding in WHS/HSEQ who wants to continue developing their career while working directly alongside a highly experienced HSEQ Manager.
Predominantly based from head office with ad-hoc site visits, you’ll gain broad exposure across health & safety, quality, environmental systems, auditing, ISO compliance and project assurance within a business offering an excellent work culture and environment.
The Role
Supporting the HSEQ Manager and project teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Assisting with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and certification readiness
- Coordinating HSEQ reporting, dashboards, registers and compliance records
- Supporting project audits, inspections and assurance activities, including corrective-action closeout
- Assisting project teams with SWMS, risk registers, inspections and critical controls
- Maintaining training, competency, licence and ticket records
- Supporting quality and environmental compliance, including ITPs, defects/NCRs and inspection records
- Maintaining HSEQ and quality information within Procore
- Assisting with inductions, toolbox materials, safety alerts and HSEQ communications
- Conducting ad-hoc site visits and supporting project mobilisation and HSEQ documentation
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent recognised qualification
- Sound understanding of Australian WHS principles
- An understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001
- Strong administration, reporting and document-control skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Full Australian working rights – no sponsorship available
Previous experience within commercial construction as an HSEQ Coordinator, HSEQ Administrator, Safety Administrator or similar would be highly regarded.
Experience with Procore, internal auditing, SWMS, high-risk construction activities, quality assurance and ITPs would also be advantageous.
