Our client is a privately owned civil & mining services contractor operating cross remote and regional Western Australia. The business specialises in bulk earthworks, road construction, drainage, and mine site infrastructure, supporting major resource clients through both direct delivery and subcontract arrangements.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into project management while staying closely connected to site operations.

You will support the delivery of civil works including bulk earthworks, haul roads, and infrastructure, acting as a 2IC Project Manager while taking ownership of defined work packages valued at up to $20M.

Your New Role:

  • Full-time permanent opportunity acting as a 2IC Project Manager
  • Provide PM support across various mining & civil earthworks sites
  • Lead daily & weekly project meetings to ensure productivity, workforce allocation and performance of subcontractors
  • Manage project package of up to $20M (must have demonstrated experience on this)
  • Liaise with clients, maintain relationships and ensure project runs to program
  • Work closely with operations, engineers and commercial teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management
  • Extensive experience managing live civil & mining earthworks projects
  • Experience working with a civil contractor
  • Strong commercial abilities including management of contracts, cost controlling, variation management and forecasting
  • Proven experience with leading teams and coordinating workforce delivery to achieve project objectives
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of adaptability in fast-paced and changing project environments
