Zenith Search is currently seeking multiple experienced A Grade Electricians for project-based work in Forrestdale.

This role will suit electricians with previous switchboard, switchroom or industrial electrical experience who are comfortable working across assembly, wiring, terminations and electrical schematics.

There is ongoing work available, with potential permanent opportunities for suitable candidates.

The Role

You will be working within a workshop/yard environment across the manufacturing and assembly of switchboards and switchrooms.

The role will involve hands-on electrical work across MCCs, PLC wiring, cable installation, terminations and distribution boards.

What’s On Offer

• $58.73 per hour base rate

• $2.00 per hour site allowance on all hours worked

• Electrical licence allowance of $38.46 per week

• Monday to Friday

• 6:00am – 2:30pm

• 7.6 ordinary hours per day

• Overtime available

• Saturday overtime available from 6:00am – 12:00pm

Duties Will Include

• Assembly and wiring of switchboards and switchrooms

• MCC wiring and installation

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics

• PLC wiring and terminations

• Cable ladder installation

• Cable installation and terminations

• Distribution board installation and wiring

• General commercial and industrial electrical work

• Maintaining safe work practices within the workshop

What You Will Need

• Current A Grade Electrical Licence

• White Card

• Previous switchboard or switchroom experience

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

• PLC wiring experience

• Cable installation and termination experience

• Valid driver’s licence

• Reliable transport

• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen

Highly Regarded

• MCC experience

• Switchroom manufacturing experience

• Industrial electrical experience

• Distribution board wiring experience

• Previous workshop-based electrical experience
