This role is clinic-based in the Metro area, where no two days are the same. You will provide essential occupational therapy services to a variety of clients while coordinating with the broader allied health team.
This position reports to the clinic manager and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that supports you every step of the way. Enjoy the flexibility to manage your workload and choose your desired working days/hours, whether full-time or part-time, including school hours to suit your lifestyle and family commitments. You will handle a clinical caseload and work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services, including evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and management of a range of conditions.
- Create and implement effective, personalized therapeutic plans for each client, developing high-quality therapy care plans and case notes, and contributing to written reports in a concise and professional manner.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and escalate concerns.
- Undertake referrals and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Communicate with clients and their families to understand their goals.
- Continuously enhance your skills through dedicated professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Possession of a valid WA Driver’s license
- NDIS worker clearance
- Covid and Flu Vaccinations
- Diligent, can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skills coupled with knowledge in a wide range of occupational therapy assessment, treatment, and evaluation
