Maintenance Manager
- Build reliability systems from scratch
- Influence design of future plants
- High ownership in a scaling operation
Renewable Metals is redefining how the world recovers critical minerals.
We’ve developed a world-first alkali recycling process capable of recovering over 95% of metals from battery waste-cleaner, more efficient, and built for scale. Backed by leading climate-tech investors and government funding, we are now commissioning our large-scale demonstration plant in Perth, with full-scale operations targeted for 2026.
The Opportunity
This is not a maintenance role inheriting mature systems.
This is a build-and-optimise role where you will establish maintenance and reliability frameworks from the ground up in a live plant environment.
The demonstration plant will run continuously, generating critical learnings and your role is to ensure equipment reliability while capturing the data, failure modes, and insights that will shape future commercial facilities.
This is where maintenance becomes strategic, not just reactive.
What You’ll Own
- Maintenance strategy, systems, and execution
- Equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and performance improvement
- Asset registers, maintenance schedules, and documentation
- Contractor management and spare parts strategy
- Reliability insights to support plant scale-up
About You
You are a builder of systems, not just a fixer of problems.
- Maintenance leadership experience in industrial/process environments
- Strong mechanical and plant systems knowledge
- Experience setting up maintenance frameworks and processes
- Comfortable operating in evolving, non-perfect environments
Why This Role
- Build maintenance systems from the ground up
- Influence future commercial plant design
- Work in a technically evolving, high-impact environment
