Permanent Full-Time | $110,000-$120,000 + Super | Relocation Included
Are you passionate about supporting children and families while enjoying the variety of primary healthcare?
We’re recruiting a Maternal & Child Health Nurse to join an Aboriginal Medical Service in Regional WA, where you’ll play a key role in improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and families across remote Western Australia.
This is an integrated role with a strong maternal and child health focus, complemented by primary healthcare and community outreach. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with families while delivering holistic, culturally safe care.
About the Role
Working Monday to Friday, you’ll provide a combination of clinic-based and community care, with occasional travel to surrounding communities for outreach services and school health checks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering maternal and child health services across the community
- Child health assessments, developmental monitoring and early intervention
- Parenting education, nutrition advice and preventative health programs
- Supporting families through health promotion and ongoing care
- Providing primary healthcare as part of an integrated multidisciplinary service
- Participating in outreach clinics and school health programs

About You
We’re keen to hear from Registered Nurses with experience in:
- Maternal & Child Health
- Child & Family Health
- Community Health
- Primary Health Care
- Remote Area Nursing (highly regarded but not essential)
You’ll also have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for improving health outcomes for Aboriginal children and families
- Current driver’s licence
