Mental Health Clinician
- Mental health hospital community teams throughout regional VIC
- Regional Victoria multiple positions in CAMHS, CYMHS & 0-26 team
- Social Worker, Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, MH Registered Nurse
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to provide person-centred, recovery-focused care to young people aged 0-25 years. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions across both community and bed-based services.
About the Role
This role focuses on providing timely mental health assessments and holistic, evidence-based treatment in line with trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices. You’ll play a key part in supporting consumers and their families throughout their recovery journey using tools such as the Optimal Health Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct acute and routine mental health assessments
- Collaborate on care and safety plans with consumers, families, and carers
- Deliver pharmacological and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor and support both mental and physical wellbeing
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data integrity
- Support education, training, and culturally appropriate practice within the team
About You
You bring experience working with young people in a mental health setting, and are passionate about delivering inclusive, recovery-oriented care. You’re a collaborative team player who values lived experience and family involvement in care planning.
What You’ll Need
- Relevant qualifications and registration
- Experience in clinical assessment and intervention
- Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
