Salary: As per NSW Health Professionals Award + extra $10,000 regional allowance

About the Company
Our client is a leading healthcare provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mental health services across a diverse regional area. They are committed to supporting mental wellness through collaborative, person-centred, and culturally sensitive care. They are currently seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Mental Health Clinician to join their growing mental health team.
The Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with children, young people (0-18 years), and their families through therapeutic, assessment, and outreach services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and delivering clinical interventions
- Providing counselling and therapeutic support, including family and group-based work
- Managing a caseload and developing individual care and recovery plans
- Delivering outreach services and supporting schools, NGOs, and community partners
- Participating in case reviews, multidisciplinary planning, and service improvement activities
- Supporting mental health education, prevention, and early intervention programs
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Nursing or Occupational Therapist
- Current registration or eligibility with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW)
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in mental health, ideally with children and young people in a community setting
- Sound knowledge of mental health legislation and child protection frameworks
- Strong documentation, communication, and organisational skills
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including overnight as required
