Senior Mental Health Clinician
Location: Regional Queensland – multiple roles (Gympie, Bundaberg, Emerald, Rockhampton)
Job Type: Full-time, flexible hours (0.5 – 1.0 FTE)
Salary: SACS level 5 $101K – $108K + super + relocation allowance + salary sacrifice

With their Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program expanding, they are seeking a Senior Clinician to help elevate service standards and support a skilled, compassionate team making a difference in the lives of young people.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned mental health clinician to step into a leadership role with a focus on therapy, stakeholder engagement, and clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver individual and group therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness) for youth with complex mental health needs
- Provide clinical oversight, mentoring, and supervision to junior clinicians
- Drive service delivery in line with program targets and quality standards
- Engage with local stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways and collaborative care
- Utilise face-to-face and digital modalities to reach clients across the region
- Contribute to program development and promote best-practice models of care
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced clinician with a passion for working with youth and leading change.
You will ideally have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or a related discipline
- Extensive experience providing therapy to adolescents and families
- Strong knowledge of trauma, social determinants of health, and youth-specific mental health challenges
- Advanced skills in evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT)
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver clinical supervision
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Essential requirements:
- Current registration/eligible with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW)
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to travel locally as required
- Experience working with severe mental health presentations
