Occupational Therapist – Mental Health & Youth Services (Non-NDIS and NDIS roles available)

Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 + bonuses+ super + WFH + relocation incentives

They are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their mental health and youth services team and contribute to meaningful outcomes across WA communities.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to step into a dynamic and rewarding position offering both challenge and long-term career growth. You will work with clients across the mental health spectrum in a Clinical or a Disability space, with a strong focus on youth aged 14-25 and adults across all life spans, supporting their independence and wellbeing in community-based settings.
Key responsibilities include:

Conduct functional and comprehensive assessments for clients with diverse and complex needs

Deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions including CBT, sensory modulation, ADL training, and goal-based therapies

Provide Clinical or NDIS reports and recommendations to support planning and funding outcomes

Liaise with families, schools, community organisations, and multidisciplinary health professionals

Participate in case conferences, clinical team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives

Deliver education to clients, caregivers, and broader community partners on youth mental health
You’ll work closely with experienced clinicians and program managers and be a key part of a collaborative allied health and mental health team.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

Between 1 to 2+ years’ experience in mental health, disability, or youth-focused occupational therapy

Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist

Experience with NDIS frameworks and reporting processes

A client-focused, trauma-informed and culturally safe approach to practice

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
-
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, and valid driver’s license
-
Willingness to travel for community outreach (as required)
