An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced mental health professional to lead an Adult Community Mental Health team in a beautiful region of WA.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health clinician and leader to join a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and operational management across Adult Community Mental Health services.

As Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality community mental health services while supporting staff, driving clinical excellence, and ensuring consumers receive safe, recovery-focused care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical and operational leadership to the Adult Community Mental Health team.

  • Managing day-to-day service delivery, staffing, and clinical governance.

  • Supporting and mentoring multidisciplinary clinicians to achieve best practice outcomes.

  • Working collaboratively with internal departments, community organisations, and external stakeholders.

  • Promoting recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate mental health care.

  • Driving continuous quality improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist) or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) where applicable.

  • Previous leadership or senior clinician experience within Adult Community Mental Health.

  • Strong knowledge of community mental health frameworks, risk assessment, and case management.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Current driver’s licence.

  • A passion for supporting regional communities and leading high-performing teams.
