Physiotherapist – Aged Care
I’m excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Senior Physiotherapist to join a brand-new aged care home in Dalyellup. If you are passionate about person-centered therapy services and promoting a positive aging experience for older adults, this could be the perfect role for you!
About the Facility:
This state-of-the-art, 120-bed aged care home encourages community connection with its outdoor intergenerational exercise and play area, BBQ facilities, and café. The facility also features two dedicated exercise rooms with scenic views, a bar, and a hairdresser, making it an ideal environment for both residents and staff.
Role Overview:
- Position Type: Permanent, full-time
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday
- Location: Dalyellup
- Relocation Support: Available for the right candidate
- Accommodation Allowance: Available for the right candidate
In this role, you will report to the Senior Therapy Team Lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide customer-centered assessments, interventions, and programs aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct customer-centered assessments, interventions, and therapeutic programs
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic programs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Experience in therapeutic program planning, delivery, and evaluation
- Strong commitment to person-centered care
- Excellent workload and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Proficiency with common computer systems and clinical information systems
