Job Type: Contractor Position – 3 days a week
Salary: $104 hourly rate (inclusive of super) + travel reimbursement
About the Company
Our client is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain work/life balance without getting burnt-out and they provide PBS services to complex clients who have comorbid presentations. You would be focused on a child and adolescent caseload, delivering trauma-informed practices. This is a great opportunity for you to grow clinically through working with complex clients where you will receive excellent supervision, support and development.
The Role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner in our clients trauma-informed team, you’ll empower people to build meaningful, independent lives by developing innovative, person-centred strategies that create lasting positive change. Key responsibilities include:
- Writing Comprehensive and Interim reports
- Completing functional behaviour assessments
- Working with restrictive practices and creating fade out plans where appropriate
- Creating resources
- Working with a multidisciplinary team
- Setting goals and creating strategies to reach clients targets
- Data collection and analysis
What We’re Looking For
- NDIS Endorsement – Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist
- Previous experience drafting positive behaviour support plans
- Be confident providing direction around the use of restrictive practices and understanding the Commissions expectations
- Experience/Interest in working with children & adolescents, who have complex needs and at times are high risk participants
- Full Working Rights in Australia
- Own vehicle and clean driving licence
