The Opportunity – Principal Mining Engineer

Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will include:

• Lead and manage complex mining projects from concept through to completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and innovative solutions that drive value for their operations.
• Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and expanding the company’s client base in the mining sector.
• Provide strategic input into the company’s growth plans, including exploring new markets and service offerings.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining a focus on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to shape the future direction of the business.
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders, demonstrating your expertise and understanding of industry trends.
• Actively contribute to the company’s ownership structure, with the potential to earn equity in the business as you help drive its success.
