Project Engineer

  • $140 – $160k + Super

  • Bulk Earthworks & Major Civil Infrastructure

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading civil contractor delivering a major bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure project in Western Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity work on a large-scale resources-sector project, supporting the delivery of significant earthworks, drainage, roads, concrete and associated civil works. The role will suit a technically capable engineer who is confident managing multiple work fronts and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and project delivery support across bulk earthworks and associated civil construction scopes
  • Coordinate daily site activities, including plant, labour, subcontractors and material requirements
  • Assist with planning, programming, procurement, cost tracking and progress reporting
  • Manage technical documentation, ITPs, RFIs, QA records and construction methodologies
  • Monitor project performance against programme, budget, safety and quality requirements
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project delivery teams
  • Support the Project Manager with forecasting, reporting and overall project delivery

The Requirements:

  • 4-7 years’ experience as a Project Engineer on civil construction, mining infrastructure or major earthworks projects.
  • Strong bulk earthworks experience, including cut-to-fill, haulage, compaction and drainage work.
  • Experience working on large-scale civil infrastructure, mining, resources, or remote area projects.
  • Exposure to concrete, roads, drainage, utilities or associated civil scopes.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, QA processes, programming and cost control.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Relevant Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering qualifications
  • Previous FIFO experience required.
