Project Geologist

An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Project Geologist to join a well-funded, ASX-listed gold exploration company entering an exciting period of growth. With multiple active exploration programs underway and a clear pathway towards mining, this is your chance to play a key role in the next phase of the company’s journey.

Working closely with a highly experienced technical team, you’ll gain exposure to both hands-on exploration and project-level geology while helping deliver drilling programs and advance high-quality gold assets.

The Opportunity

This is a diverse role combining fieldwork with office-based project responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and supervising RC and diamond drilling programs
• Core logging, sampling and geological interpretation
• Managing drilling contractors and ensuring high-quality geological data
• Assisting with geological modelling and database management
• Supporting resource definition and exploration targeting
• Preparing technical reports and contributing to project evaluations
• Working collaboratively with the wider geology team to progress projects towards development

About You

To be successful, you’ll ideally bring:

• Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in gold exploration
• Experience supervising RC and/or diamond drilling programs
• Strong logging, sampling and geological interpretation skills
• Exposure to project geology and exploration planning
• Experience using Micromine will be highly regarded
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team
• A genuine desire to grow your career with a company entering an exciting phase of development
