Our client is a growing Western Australian gold producer with a strong operational pipeline and expanding underground mining activities across WA.

We are currently seeking a motivated and technically driven Project Mine Geologist to join a high-performing underground operation in the Pilbara. This is an excellent opportunity for a geologist looking to broaden their technical exposure, work closely with experienced senior professionals, and take the next step in their career development.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will play a key role in the design, execution and interpretation of underground drilling programs focused on resource growth and extending mine life.

This position offers strong exposure across underground mine geology, resource development, drill planning, geological interpretation and operational decision-making. You will gain hands-on involvement across the mining cycle while working within a supportive and technically capable team.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and supervise underground drilling programs
* Interpret geological data to support mine development and resource growth
* Conduct geological modelling and orebody interpretation
* Support grade control and underground production activities
* Maintain high QAQC and sampling standards
* Assist with reconciliation and geological reporting
* Work closely with mining and technical services teams to optimise underground outcomes
* Mentor and support junior geologists where required

About You

* Tertiary qualification in Geology or equivalent
* Experience within an underground gold mining environment
* Strong understanding of underground mine geology and grade control practices
* Exposure to drill planning, geological interpretation and resource development
* Experience using software such as Leapfrog, Deswik, Datamine and Acquire
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Motivated to continue developing technically within underground gold mining
