The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded civil contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across Western Australia.
This is a key project delivery position, taking overall responsibility for a $30M Tailings Dam project and leading a team of approximately 40 personnel across the delivery phase.
The role will involve managing complex earthworks, structural and civil infrastructure packages from mobilisation through to completion, with a strong focus on safety, programme, commercial performance and client outcomes.
With significant work secured, the business offers genuine long-term stability, a strong project pipeline and the opportunity to work on high-value mining and civil projects within an experienced delivery team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of a $30M Tailings Dam project.
- Lead and manage a project team of approximately 40 personnel, including Project Engineers, Supervisors and site-based teams.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, programmes and commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and client representatives.
- Drive project performance across safety, quality, schedule and financial targets.
- Manage project risks, variations, claims and contractual requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest construction standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager within civil construction.
- Strong experience across bulk earthworks, tailings, structural concrete and civil infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage $20M+ projects from commencement through to completion.
- Experience leading and managing large multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Civil Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications.
- A proactive and commercially focused approach to project delivery.
- Ability to work on an 8:6 FIFO roster.
