Our client is a leading healthcare provider who is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Indigenous Australian living in the regional and remote areas of the Northern Territory. They provide support to their clients from Darwin, right the way through to Docker River, Uluru Alice Springs and the Northern Peninsula. Their areas of expertise are in residential aged care, community home care, childcare and school nutrition programs.

They deliver high quality care and have a stable, highly clinically competent team at each facility in the Northern Territory. The Exciting Opportunity:

We have several newly created permanent Aged Care Registered Nurse positions across the Northern Territory located in either Katherine, Docker River, Alice Springs, Darwin, Tennent Creek or the beautiful, topical peninsula location of Nhulunbuy.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for :

• Ensuring all clinical care is delivered in line with the aged care standards
• Updating resident care plan and undertaking assessments where required
• SIRS – managing falls and arranging referrals
• Wound care and medication administration
• Speaking with family members and addressing any concerns
• Updating records in an accurate and timely manner
• Staff leadership, training and education of care staff – providing direction
• Dealing with Admissions

• Locality Allowance = first year $2,500 bonus (not applicable for Darwin based roles)
• Penalty driven hourly rate ranging from $44ph-$46.43 + super + loading
• Excellent earning potential to increase earnings through loading/overtime
  • Saturday 50% loading, Sunday 100%/Double Time Loading
  • Weekday Loading – working over 38 hrs a week, first 2 hrs of over time has 50% loading and then any hours after are paid at double time/100% loading

• Relocation support of up to $5,000 (paid after passing 6 month probation)
• 6 weeks annual leave – ability to purchase 2 weeks additional annual leave if required
• 5% Leave Loading
