Our client is a highly respected private psychology practice specialising in neurodivergence and assessment services. They are recognised for delivering high-quality, person-centred psychological assessments across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children and adolescents with neurodivergent presentations. The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Psychologist seeking an assessment-focused position within a neurodiversity-affirming clinic that values clinical quality, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments (including cognitive, developmental, behavioural, and neurodivergence-related assessments, depending on your experience)
- Writing high-quality assessment reports with clear, practical recommendations
- Providing feedback sessions and psychoeducation to clients and families
- Supporting children, adolescents, and families with neuro-affirming insights and strengths-based formulations
- Collaborating with schools, GPs, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals
- Participating in supervision, case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
You will work closely with the clinical team as part of a multidisciplinary, supportive, and highly collaborative practice.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (endorsed or non-endorsed; new graduates welcome)
- Experience or strong interest in assessment work with children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based practice
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and organisational skills
- Interest or experience in neurodivergence, developmental, or family-based work (highly desirable)
