Senior Occupational Therapist

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: $110K-$120K + Super, depending on experience

About the Company
Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary allied health provider delivering high-quality, evidence-based services to children, young people and adults. They are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Cockburn Central clinic and provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to a team of Occupational Therapists.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with around 3 years’ experience to step into a senior role, combining clinical work with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a varied caseload of children, young people and adults with a range of needs.
• Conduct OT assessments and provide evidence-based interventions across clinic, home and community settings.
• Assess and prescribe Assistive Technology to maximise client independence and participation.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to a team of 3 Occupational Therapists.
• Support junior OTs with clinical decision-making, report writing and complex cases.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, medical professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to discipline-specific meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Around 3 years’ experience delivering Occupational Therapy services.
• A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
• Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring or support to junior clinicians.
• Knowledge of Paediatrics, Behaviour Management and Assistive Technology to support the wider OT team.
• Experience working with children, young people and adults with disability.
• Strong communication, assessment, report writing and organisational skills.
• Previous NDIS experience is desirable.
• Current Driver’s Licence, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
