Senior Occupational Therapist
Location: Cockburn Central, WA
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: $110K-$120K + Super, depending on experience
About the Company
Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary allied health provider delivering high-quality, evidence-based services to children, young people and adults. They are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Cockburn Central clinic and provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to a team of Occupational Therapists.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with around 3 years’ experience to step into a senior role, combining clinical work with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a varied caseload of children, young people and adults with a range of needs.
- Conduct OT assessments and provide evidence-based interventions across clinic, home and community settings.
- Assess and prescribe Assistive Technology to maximise client independence and participation.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to a team of 3 Occupational Therapists.
- Support junior OTs with clinical decision-making, report writing and complex cases.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, medical professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to discipline-specific meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Around 3 years’ experience delivering Occupational Therapy services.
- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
- Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring or support to junior clinicians.
- Knowledge of Paediatrics, Behaviour Management and Assistive Technology to support the wider OT team.
- Experience working with children, young people and adults with disability.
- Strong communication, assessment, report writing and organisational skills.
- Previous NDIS experience is desirable.
- Current Driver’s Licence, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
