Location: Western Australia & Northern Territory
Job Type: Short term contracts & full-time – Permanent
Salary: $96,500 to $136,145.80 + Super + Salary Packaging

Casual Rate: $104.70ph – $116.00+ Super

About the Company

Our client is a respected leader in the community healthcare sector, providing holistic, culturally appropriate care across regional Northern Territory an Western Australia. They are currently seeking Registered Nurses & Midiwives to support communities in general primary health care, families & expecting mothers.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced RN & Midwife to take on a meaningful clinical roles & leadership postions.

Key responsibilities include:

• General Primary Health care
• Delivering antenatal and postnatal care that is culturally safe, trauma-informed, and community-based
• Supporting local Aboriginal women and children
• Coordinating care with internal health programs and external services
• Promoting positive birth outcomes and maternal/infant wellbeing through education and advocacy
• Contributing to the evaluation and enhancement of an innovative maternal health initiative
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, local communities, and visiting health professionals.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse or Midwifery
• Remote Area Certificate
• Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate with First Nations people in remote settings
• Significant experience in primary health nursing or midwifery care that is culturally informed and trauma-aware
• Problem-solving ability in complex and evolving healthcare environments
• Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal
• High level of professional integrity, privacy, and cultural competence
