RESIDENTIAL AGED CARE MANAGER

The Client:
Our client is seeking an inspirational Residential Aged Care Manager to join a highly successful Not-For-Profit Aged Care who are values and purpose driven with a commitment to meeting the needs of their residents. Reporting to the CEO, this is a role that offers the opportunity to shape strategy and drive operational excellence for a 12 month period.

This is a unique one-off leadership role with a progressive aged care provider who is seeking a leader with passion who will work in collaboration with the executive team.
Key responsibilities :
- Contribute to the strategic development of the organisation
- Lead and manage the residential care team of this accredited facility
- Ensure residents experience high quality support, care and services
- Coach and support direct reports adhering to values of the organisation
- Lead, manage staff to continue to achieve high standards
- Oversee the management of the residential teams training and development plan
- Achieve clinical and operational KPIs and maintain standards of care delivery
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Actively meet performance targets in line with financial and human resource guidelines
- Provide reports to the CEO and Board
- Ensure outstanding customer service and nurture relationships with residents, families and staff
To be successful in this role:
- Experience as a Residential Aged Care Manager or Acting Facility Manager working within residential Aged Care
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards/Governance, AN-ACC and legislative requirements
- Understanding of day-to-day operational management of a facility
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting
- Change management experience to contribute to leadership projects/initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
