Residential Manager – Regional Location WA

The Role:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential aged care facility, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery for all residents
  • Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards, legislation, accreditation requirements, and organisational policies
  • Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and support to multidisciplinary teams including clinical, care, hospitality, and administration staff
  • Drive a positive workplace culture focused on resident wellbeing, team engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and manage clinical governance, risk management, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee staffing levels, workforce planning, recruitment, and performance management to maintain safe and effective care delivery
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, allied health professionals, visiting practitioners, and external stakeholders
  • Manage facility budgets, occupancy targets, financial performance, and operational resources effectively
  • Ensure delivery of person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, independence, and quality of life for residents
  • Support and lead preparation for audits, accreditation visits, and compliance reviews
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic goals and operational improvements across the service
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff in line with workplace health and safety requirements in Western Australia

The successful candidate:

  • Experience working in Residential Aged Care
  • APHRA qualification – desired not mandatory
  • Full working rights
  • Covid and Flu vaccinations
  • National Police Clearance – within 6 months
  • Leadership with a track record of running a high performing business
  • Ability to lead an effective team and empowering staff to provide exceptional client focused care services
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with Boards to set a clear strategy and business focus
