Senior Clinical Nurse – Primary Health

Zenith Search is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Central Australia to recruit an experienced Senior Primary Health Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, community-led healthcare provider delivering culturally safe, comprehensive primary health care services to Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Clinician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality primary health care while supporting the development of graduate clinicians, students, and junior staff. Working closely with the Clinic Manager, you will help coordinate client flow, provide clinical leadership, and contribute to positive health outcomes for the local community.

This position offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team that is passionate about improving Aboriginal health and wellbeing through community-controlled healthcare.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner
• Strong clinical experience within primary health care, public health, remote health, or Aboriginal health settings
• Experience mentoring, supervising, or supporting clinical staff and students
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience using clinical guidelines and standard treatment manuals
• A genuine commitment to Aboriginal health and culturally safe practice
• An understanding of the principles of Aboriginal Community Control
