About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team on a major renewable energy project involving a wind farm in regional Western Australia.
The project involves the design and construction of a 330kV terminal station and high-voltage transmission infrastructure, supporting the connection of large-scale renewable energy generation to the electricity network.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure, working alongside an experienced project team on a significant development within WA’s growing renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee electrical engineering activities across the project.
- Review engineering designs, technical documentation, specifications and construction work packs.
- Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with relevant Australian Standards, project specifications and safety requirements.
- Provide technical input into construction planning, procurement, scheduling and project execution.
- Monitor engineering progress, identify risks and support delivery against project milestones.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, technical compliance and overall project performance.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of post-graduate industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical infrastructure, high-voltage systems or transmission projects.
- Experience with HV substations, terminal stations or transmission lines will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of electrical design, construction and commissioning requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, electrical regulations and safety requirements.
- Experience coordinating engineering deliverables and working closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in renewable energy, power infrastructure or major construction projects is advantageous.
