Senior Finance Manager

The role of Senior Finance Manager reports directly to the CEO in a privately owned Logistics & Infrastructure solutions provider with a diverse portfolio. The role is a key position within their Australian business within a complex multi-entity environment. The business has been further strengthened in Australia through strategic business diversification, driving growth and enhancing resilience, now providing a range a of infrastructure and logistics solutions across the mining & commodities industries. The company is aiming to become a world class integrated services company, leveraging technology and innovation to provide high quality solutions.

The Senior Finance Manager is a hands-on role responsible for group financial reporting, consolidation, statutory and tax compliance, and supporting debt funding activities across a large, multi-entity Australian group.

The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Demonstrated senior or group-level responsibility for a finance function within a complex business
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in group reporting and consolidation within complex, multi-entity environments
  • Experience supporting capital markets activity or bond issuance
  • Background in asset-intensive, infrastructure, resources, or capital-heavy industries
  • Exposure to treasury functions, including cashflow management, liquidity planning, and interest rate risk
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical application of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB / IFRS)
  • Proven end-to-end ownership of month-end and year-end close processes and external audits
  • Experience supporting debt financing and refinancing activities, including bank facilities or term debt
  • Prior experience managing group tax consolidation, compliance and group tax strategy.
  • Practical experience in lender reporting, covenant calculations, and ongoing financial compliance
