Autonomous Role Across Two Key Sites
The Opportunity:
Our client is a well-established earthmoving contractor supporting long-term gold mining operations across WA’s Goldfields region. With secured work through to at least 2029, they are seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to step into a key, site-facing role across two active operations near Laverton and Norseman.
This is a FIFO 4:3 roster position, working across two sites approximately 200km apart. This is a floating Senior Advisor role where you’ll operate autonomously between both sites, partnering closely with operational teams to implement frameworks, improve risk management processes, and ensure a consistent, compliant approach to safety.
You’ll play a key role in formalising systems across areas such as risk registers, chemical management, and safety documentation, while maintaining a strong on-site presence with crews and leadership teams.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised and process-driven, and is confident working independently across multiple operations.
The Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in WHS (Advanced Diploma or Degree highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior HSE role within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
- Strong background working around heavy plant and mobile equipment
- Proven ability to implement and manage safety systems, frameworks, and risk registers
- Experience with chemical assessments and compliance processes
- Highly organised with strong administrative and documentation skills
- Confident communicator who can engage effectively with site teams and operate autonomously
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
