Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 5:00pm
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established civil and mining contractor delivering a growing portfolio of public infrastructure projects across the Perth metropolitan area. They are seeking an experienced Senior HSET Advisor to take ownership of Health, Safety, Environment and Training across this expanding division.
Reporting directly to the HSET Manager, you’ll operate as the dedicated HSET lead for the public infrastructure business, working across multiple metro project sites and partnering closely with operational teams to drive compliance, workforce capability and a strong safety culture.
This is a hands-on, standalone role that will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, influencing project teams and helping shape HSET systems and processes within a growing part of the business. As the division continues to expand, the opportunity to build and mentor a team will follow.
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) (essential)
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior HSET Advisor on metro civil construction and public infrastructure projects (essential)
- Experience delivering site-based training, inductions and competency assessments
- Strong understanding of the safety requirements and challenges associated with live public infrastructure environments
- Ability to work independently across multiple metropolitan project sites
- Strong working knowledge of WA WHS legislation and contractor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence
- Ability to provide a current National Police Clearance
