Senior Project Engineer

  • Salary: Up to $180k + Project Uplift + Vehicle + Super

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established civil & mechanical contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects across WA. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects and work closely with experienced delivery teams across both metro and regional environments.

  • Pipelines, pump stations, wastewater treatment, dewatering & more
  • Strong focus on Water Corporation, mining & local government projects

Your New Role:

  • Lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion
  • Oversee project programming, procurement, subcontractor management & site coordination
  • Manage cost control, forecasting, variations & client communication
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project leadership across multiple scopes
  • Permanent position offering ongoing career progression opportunities

About You:

  • At least 8+ years demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer
  • Must have strong exposure to Water Corporation
  • Strong exposure to water infrastructure and/or pipelines
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated delivery experience with HDPE, PVC, MSCL & Stainless Steel pipelines
  • Strong understanding of project controls, QA, procurement & commercial management
  • Ability to work across both metro and regional/FIFO projects as required
  • Experience working with a civil contractor is essential
