About the Company

Our client is a well-established contractor who operate all across Australia, delivering complex infrastructure projects with a strong focus on civil scopes. With a reputation for technical capability and consistent project delivery, they specialise in works roads, drainage, stormwater & pavements.

Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects on the Sunshine Coast.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to step into a hands-on delivery role across a range of technically challenging utilities projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating day-to-day site activities across roads, drainage, stormwater & pavements.
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring project progress against program and assisting with short-term planning.
• Develop and mentor more junior engineers within the team.
• Supporting cost control, variations, and procurement processes
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, playing a key role in successful project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• 8+ years’ experience in an onsite delivery role within civil construction
• Exposure to TMR Road Projects, including upgrades, drainage, stormwater & pavements.
• Experience working for a civil contractor in Australia.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and specifications
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively on site
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
