Senior Resource Gelogist

Join a growing Australian gold producer at a key stage of expansion. With multiple operations in production, an active development pipeline, and strong exploration momentum, this is an opportunity to step into a technically influential role with real impact.

Reporting to the Geology Manager, you will lead resource modelling and estimation across several gold operations, working closely with mining and technical teams to deliver robust, reconciled models that support mine planning and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver geological and resource models for operating gold mines

  • Apply appropriate linear and non-linear estimation techniques

  • Reconcile models against production and investigate variances

  • Ensure best-practice QA/QC, drilling, sampling, and data integrity

About You

  • Degree in Geoscience or related discipline (Geostatistics highly regarded)

  • Strong experience in gold mining and/or exploration environments

  • Proven background in resource modelling and estimation

  • Sound understanding of reconciliation, recoverable resources, and simulation

  • Proficient with industry-standard geological and modelling software
