Service Manager – Mental Health Services
Location: Regional Western Australia (Hybrid/ FIFO, Regional WA)
Job Type: Full-time – FIFO (1 week on site: 1 week WFH/hybrid option)
Salary: From $120k + super + salary packaging + LAFH allowance

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to take on a leadership role within a regional setting, overseeing the delivery of a community-based mental health program.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in establishing and maintaining a service that is responsive to local needs. The position requires a balance of clinical expertise, operational oversight, and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting a team to deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate mental health services
- Overseeing client intake, assessment processes, and care coordination to ensure a safe and accessible experience
- Building and maintaining partnerships with community groups, service providers, and key stakeholders
- Managing day-to-day operations, reporting requirements, compliance, and program performance
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and regional stakeholders while guiding your team to achieve positive outcomes for young people and the wider community.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the healthcare, mental health, or community services sector
- Strong clinical background working with young people and families, with an understanding of mental health frameworks
- Experience working in regional or remote communities, including engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field, with professional registration
- Ability to manage risk, ensure compliance, and lead teams in complex environments
