Location: Brisbane CBD, QLD
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects across the Brisbane CBD and surrounding regions.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.
This role is ideally suited to a hands-on and driven construction professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience managing fitout projects within live and occupied spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all day-to-day site operations across fitout and refurbishment projects
- Lead subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve programme milestones and project outcomes
- Maintain and drive a strong safety-first culture on site
- Coordinate site logistics, staging, and trade sequencing within live and occupied environments
- Ensure all works are delivered to a high-quality finish and in line with client expectations
- Conduct toolbox talks, subcontractor meetings, and site coordination meetings
- Work closely with Project Managers, consultants, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle
- Proactively identify and resolve construction issues and programme risks
- Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, and productivity
- Manage defects, commissioning, and handover processes
- Maintain accurate site reporting and project documentation
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, services coordination, and programme delivery
- Experience working within live or occupied environments highly regarded
- Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced project delivery programmes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
- Trade qualification or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or related discipline
- Stable employment history within reputable commercial builders or fitout contractors
