About the Role:
We are currently seeking passionate and skilled Social Workers to join a leading healthcare provider in Victoria, specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), eating disorders, and Adult Mental Health. These roles provide the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health challenges.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Support clients and their families through evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and family therapy.
- Advocate for clients and assist in navigating the healthcare system to access appropriate services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure best practice.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration (or eligibility to register).
- Experience working in CAMHS, Eating Disorders, or Adult Mental Health settings.
- Strong knowledge of mental health frameworks and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in crisis intervention and case management.
- Understanding of family dynamics and systemic therapy approaches.
- Previous experience working in a community or inpatient setting.
