Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and professional individual ready to contribute to a bustling trade centre. This role offers a unique blend of physical work and customer service, ensuring no two days are the same.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading & Unloading: Handle trucks and customer orders efficiently (Forklift Licence required).
  • Picking & Packing: Prepare customer orders, especially on busy Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service, assist with product knowledge, and manage the tile library.
  • Maintenance: Keep the Trade Centre clean, orderly, and stocked.
  • Computer Tasks: Perform light data entry and processing.
  • Deliveries & Pick-ups: Manage small-scale deliveries and pickups as needed.
  • Policy Adherence: Understand and apply company policies and procedures within the Trade Centre.

Skills & Experience:

  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift boxes up to 30kg and pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment.
  • Forklift & Drivers Licenses: Must hold current licenses with no restrictions.
  • Police Clearance: Provide a current Clear to Work Police Clearance.
  • Industry Experience: Tiling Trade/Tradesman experience is beneficial but not essential. Construction background preferred.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Demonstrate focus and attention to detail.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work unsupervised and efficiently within specific timeframes.
  • Safety Conscious: Good understanding of OH&S requirements in a warehouse and delivery environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic computer literacy.

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
