Available Roles
- Team Leader – Functional Recovery Program (Darwin, NT)
This leadership role oversees the design and delivery of group-based and peer-supported recovery programs for young people experiencing early psychosis. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, coordinate family and peer support initiatives, and contribute to clinical service delivery and quality improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Functional Recovery Program team and coordinating service delivery
- Supervising Peer Support and Family Mentor staff
- Facilitating therapeutic group programs and recovery-oriented interventions
- Supporting young people and families through direct clinical work
- Promoting family inclusion and best-practice recovery principles
- Ensuring high-quality data collection, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Clinician and Team Leader – Youth Mental Health Services (Katherine, NT)
You’ll support young people through screening, assessment, and targeted therapeutic interventions. This role involves both hub-based work and outreach in the community, with a strong emphasis on early intervention, cultural safety, and working collaboratively with families and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting bio-psycho-social and risk assessments
- Delivering individual and group-based, evidence-based interventions
- Creating collaborative care and safety plans
- Supporting community engagement and outreach activities
- Working within a flexible, culturally inclusive, youth-friendly environment
- Maintaining timely clinical documentation and contributing to service evaluation
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking skilled and passionate professionals who are committed to empowering young people and promoting their wellbeing.
Essential for all roles:
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing)
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA or AASW)
- Experience working with young people experiencing mental health challenges
- Cultural competency, especially working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- A trauma-informed, strengths-based, and youth-centred approach
Additional requirements:
- NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
- National Police Check (within the last 3 months)
- NT Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and role-specific vaccinations
