Telehealth General Practitioners
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Primary Care: Provide thorough primary care services, including taking medical histories, conducting clinical examinations, and arranging necessary investigations.
- Management Plans: Develop and implement effective management plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Preventive Health Care: Offer appropriate preventive health care to maintain and improve residents’ well-being.
- Regular Reviews: Conduct regular reviews and follow-ups with aged care residents to monitor and manage their health.
- Health Assessments: Contribute to health assessments and medication management for new resident admissions.
- Annual Reviews: Perform annual health assessment reviews for existing residents to ensure ongoing care.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Review multidisciplinary care plans and participate in case conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Relevant medical qualifications and experience in primary care.
- Unrestricted Vocationally Registered (VR) – FRACGP or FACRRM is preferred or is a restricted VR doctor under moratorium.
- Currently AHPRA registered and is permitted to work in Australia.
- Ability to apply for a Medicare Provider Number.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
