• Competitive Rates $950-$1,200/day (Experience Depending)

Zenith Search has partnered with a leading mining company to source experienced Underground Loader Operators for permanent, full-time positions at a well-established underground operation in WA.

These roles offer long-term job security, a balanced 2/2 roster, and the opportunity to operate modern underground equipment within a safety-focused production environment.

About the Role

As an Underground Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating underground loaders to support production activities across development headings and stopes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating underground Boggers including CAT R1700 & R2900 to load, haul and dump ore and waste
• Tramming ore to ore passes, stockpiles and trucks while maintaining ore quality and minimising dilution
• Cleaning development headings, production areas and intersections to maintain access, ground conditions and ventilation
• Completing daily pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects
• Working closely with jumbo, charge up and service crews to achieve production targets
• Following all underground safety procedures, traffic management plans and site standards

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ underground loader/bogger operating experience
• Experience operating R1700, R2900 or similar underground LHDs
• Remote loader operating experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of underground mining practices and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively within a small production-focused team
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a demanding underground environment

Tickets & Requirements

• Current C Class WA Driver’s Licence
• Underground loader competencies/tickets highly regarded
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Must be an Australian/NZ Permanent Resident/Citizen

• 12-hour shifts
• Competitive rates from $950-$1,200 per day depending on experience
• DIDO options available for candidates in surrounding regions
