Underground Mine Surveyor
My client is an ASX 50 miner with a strong global presence in gold mining production.
They are seeking experienced Underground Mine Surveyors to join their growing operations as they ramp up on additional underground developments. They have significant presence across strategic and historical gold producing locations in Western Australia, this industry leader offers exceptional career development opportunities and is recognised as one of Australia’s cornerstone company in the gold mining sector.

Currently, there are 2 positions available across two different gold mining operations and they are seeking talents who have recently completed their 2-3 years in Underground Surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing survey marks out of drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore drilling
- Providing survey control for all mining activities
- Contributing to survey plans including survey instructions (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans
- Conducting end of month development and ore stockpile surveys, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping and surface works as required
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying
- 1-3 years’ practical experience, preferably in underground mining
- Proficiency with Deswik software packages (desirable)
- Strong organisational and forward-planning capabilities
